A couple of months there was a thread on this. You might search, but as I recall, it is just the Christmas stories from the books (except for Felicity!). The CD is supposed to be nice.

HI,
My dd8 got it during Thanksgiving, so she could read the Holiday stories in anticipation of Christmas. It is a beautifully done hb book w/ an attached ribbon bookmark. It has a Christmas music cd of 25 songs. They have the songs listed from the historical eras of 6 of the AG girls (Molly, Kit, Samantha, Addy, Kirsten, and Josefina) and the Christmas stories of those six girl's are in the book. The stories include the "Looking Back" sections after each story (were they called "Peek into the Past" in the regular books?) The book does not have Felicity's Christmas story and Kaya did not have one, so she's not included.
My dd loves the book. It's nice having the Christmas books all together. My dd does not have all the series books so it was also a nice intro to Molly, Addy, and Josie.
I can see where you might just skip it, if you had all the books to begin with.
I bought it through overstock.com & it wasn't as pricey as AG's site + shipping was cheap.
HTH,
